www.classicyvintage.com is an online shop for the sale of classic-vehicle parts, managed by Andreu Sánchez Tàpia. Through the online shop www.classicyvintage.com we sell a catalogue of spare parts for all types of classic vehicles: Volkswagen and Porsche.
All purchases made through the online shop www.classicyvintage.com are subject to the general terms set out in this document. The sales concluded are distance sales governed by the Spanish legislation in force on the matter. The user accepts the terms of purchase and expresses full and unreserved acceptance of each and every one of them.
Product availability
Upon receiving the order, we verify the availability of the products and/or services included in it. In the event of unavailability, www.classicyvintage.com will contact the customer to inform them and advise of the new delivery times, or to propose other products of similar characteristics and prices that are available. If the alternative products are not to the customer's satisfaction, a purchase voucher with no expiry date will be issued so that the customer can exchange it for another product at any time.
The validation date of an order corresponds to the date the transfer is received in the case of payment by bank transfer. If we are unable to supply any item in the order, we will contact the customer to supply the rest.
Prices
www.classicyvintage.com reserves the right to modify prices at any time. The rates in force at the time the order is placed will apply.
Payment terms
In all cases, prices are expressed in EUROS. The prices shown are retail prices with V.A.T. (21%) included. The total amount of the order will be shown at the time of its confirmation, before proceeding with payment.
Payment methods
Bank transfer
If bank transfer is selected as the payment method, the customer will receive, together with the order confirmation, an e-mail indicating the account number to which the bank transfer should be made, payable to www.classicyvintage.com. The e-mail will also indicate an order reference number. It is very important to state the reference number in the subject line, as well as the full name. The transfer must be made within 3 days from the date the order is placed.
Card payment
If card payment is selected as the payment method, the customer will be redirected to the Banco Sabadell card payment system via a secure connection. They must verify that the amount shown is correct and enter their card number, expiry date and verification code (on the back of the card). Payment will be processed instantly. www.classicyvintage.com will not store credit card information under any circumstances; the data will be known only to the Banco Sabadell payment platform and will be used solely for the payment of your order.
Returns policy and right of withdrawal
Right of withdrawal
In accordance with the Spanish legislation in force (Royal Legislative Decree 1/2007, of 16 November, approving the consolidated text of the General Law for the Defence of Consumers and Users), customers who qualify as consumers have a period of 14 calendar days, counted from receipt of the product, to withdraw from the contract without having to justify their decision and without any penalty.
To exercise this right, the customer must communicate their decision unequivocally to www.classicyvintage.com, before that period expires, by e-mail or by means of the withdrawal form provided for this purpose at the end of this document. The customer must keep proof of this communication.
Conditions of return
Once withdrawal has been communicated, the customer must return the product within a maximum of 14 calendar days from that communication.
The customer shall only be liable for any diminished value of the product resulting from handling other than what is necessary to establish its nature, characteristics and functioning. Consequently, the product must be returned with its original packaging intact, all its accessories, labels and documentation, without having been installed, fitted or used, and in perfect condition. Should the product be returned damaged, fitted, used or with packaging damaged in a way that reduces its commercial value, www.classicyvintage.com reserves the right to deduct from the refund the amount corresponding to that diminished value.
The direct costs of returning the product shall be borne by the customer.
Refund
www.classicyvintage.com will refund the customer all payments received, including the initial delivery costs, without undue delay and, in any event, within a maximum of 14 calendar days from the date on which the customer communicates their decision to withdraw. However, www.classicyvintage.com may withhold the refund until it has received the product, or until the customer provides proof of return.
The refund will be made using the same means of payment used by the customer in the initial transaction, unless the customer expressly states otherwise.
Exceptions to the right of withdrawal
The right of withdrawal does not apply in the cases provided for in Article 103 of the aforementioned Royal Legislative Decree 1/2007, including, among others, the supply of goods made to the customer's specifications or clearly personalised.
The right of withdrawal does not apply to purchases made by customers who do not qualify as consumers (companies, self-employed persons or professionals acquiring the products within the scope of their activity), which shall be governed by commercial regulations and these terms.
Defective products (legal guarantee)
Notwithstanding the right of withdrawal, consumer customers have a legal guarantee of conformity of 3 years from delivery for products that are defective or do not conform to what was agreed, in accordance with the regulations in force. In such cases, the return costs shall be borne by www.classicyvintage.com.
